The U3A motto is Learn, Laugh, Live. Monthly meetings Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of most months. The U3A motto is Learn, Laugh, Live. Queen Mary's College maps and directions Queen Mary's College is towards the bottom of Cliddesden Road. Turn left into the College site (first entrance), veer towards the right at the bend and follow the road a short way before turning left at the Visitors’ Car Park sign. There is a barrier leading into the Visitor Car Park. Drive slowly towards it and the barrier will open automatically.

    Basingstoke - Old Basing u3a Golf practice group in the Physical Activity faculty. Golf Practice - driving range, putting green Back to Groups Page Golf practice Keen to practice your golf swing or putting? This group offers an ideal opportunity to practice in a lovely setting. We have two small golf practice groups that each last 1.5 hours. Members will have access to the driving range and putting green followed by tea and coffee in the club house to discuss the session's highs and lows. The golf course will provide unlimited balls and for those that don't want to bring their own drivers and putters, they will provide clubs. Please note that you need to be a member of Basingstoke-Old Basing u3a to attend these meetings Venue : Sherfield Oaks Golf Course, Windmoor Lane, Sherfield, RG27 0HB.     Music & Dance Back to Groups Page Happy Feet Slow Modern Jive Although this group has a wait list we are looking for leaders, male or female to partner ladies on our wait list, we have space for a few more couples who want to dance together as well. Modern Jive adapts moves from other dance styles such as Swing, Salsa, Ballroom and Latin . James & Christine teach this dance at a much slower pace selecting mid tempo music to dance to from the 60’s onwards. Many of the improver moves we are learning build on the 12 beginner moves in the video. Please note that you need to be a member of Basingstoke-Old Basing u3a to attend these meetings Date: 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month Time: 2pm till 3.30pm Venue: Sherborne St John Village Hall, Kiln Road, Sherborne St John, Basingstoke RG24 9HR James and Christine have put together a video to show 12 basic Mo Jive Moves to help new members joining our class.
