Renewing your membership via the Members Portal
Our membership year runs from 1 September to 31 August each year. The fee for the full year is £34. With the exceptions of excursions and a very small number of groups, this single payment allows you to attend our Monthly Meetings and join as many of our groups as you wish.
Our renewal and payment of fees is done through an online process via the Members Portal. If you have not yet registered for the Members Portal then follow this link to the Members Portal Registration page.
We have adopted this as the administrative work generated by the paper application form and bank transfer method was so time-consuming it was overwhelming the Membership Secretary. This online system is fully automated, allowing our Membership Secretary the time and opportunity to welcome members to our u3a. The system is simple and straightforward. Please follow the instructions below.
Step 1
Please read the online Renewal Manual below. It will give you detailed instructions and take you step by step through the process.
Step 2
Acknowledge our TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
By renewing your membership to the Basingstoke – Old Basing u3a you are agreeing to:

abide by the principles of the u3a movement

always act in the best interests of the u3a and never do anything to bring it into disrepute

abide by the terms and conditions of our Constitution

treat fellow members with respect and courtesy at all times

comply with and support the decisions of the elected committee

advise the Membership Secretary of any change in your personal details.
Step 3
Click on the "Members Portal" icon to the right. Log-in to the Members Portal with your email address and password, then click "Renew your membership" option
Step 4
At the end of the process you will see the confirmation of payment screen, click "Return to Seller" button to return to this website. You will receive two emails, one from PayPal and the other from Basingstoke - Old Basing u3a confirming your payment and your membership for the comming year.
