🎤 CAN YOU SING? CAN YOU NOT? DOES IT REALLY MATTER? 🎶

Are you a secret rock star? A shower singer? Someone who thinks they're the next Bonnie Tyler or Freddie Mercury? Or perhaps someone whose family politely asks you to stop singing in the car? 😂

Then we've got just the choir for you!

We're starting a new U3A Soft Rock & Pop Choir in Basingstoke & Old Basing, and we're looking for a lovely bunch of like-minded people who fancy a good sing, a good laugh and a bit of fun.

There are absolutely NO auditions, NO pressure and NO need to read music.

Our philosophy is simple:

🎵 Sing loud because you can!

🎵 Sing proud because you want to!

🎵 Or sing quietly and pray the rest of the group drowns you out!

We don't mind if you hit every note, miss every note or invent a few new ones along the way. Nobody's marking you, and if we all sing together, who's going to notice anyway?

We'll be belting out some great soft rock and pop classics, from the 60s to today. Expect familiar favourites, plenty of smiles, a few questionable dance moves.

Most importantly, we're here to HAVE FUN!

So dust off those vocal cords, leave your inhibitions at home and come and give it a go. You might surprise yourself – and if you don't, at least you'll have had a laugh!

We meet on a Monday morning at 10-12pm at a Members House in the Kempshott Area

We promise great music, friendly faces and absolutely no Simon Cowell!
