Have you been frustrated by the complexities of legislation?  If so, you might be interested in joining this group to look at ways to improve legislation and give constructive feedback to our law makers.  Whether you're from the legal sector, the police, or simply a concerned citizen, you can contribute to the “Improving Legislation” group.  Our goal is to review and revise outdated or poorly written laws with the help of a large volunteer community.

Work has already been done to

• propose improved guidelines to improve legislation

• propose some improvements to existing legislation

• collate information on global efforts to enhance legislation

This group was only recently formed in 2025 and operates in a different way to most other U3A groups in that we study particular pieces of legislation that are of interest and work together to propose how it can be improved.
