Simply Sewing

This is a small, friendly group for anyone interested in meeting other Stitchers. Sewing can be a very solitary hobby and meeting with friends that share ideas and experiences is good for  the soul.  

Many of us enjoy sewing, whether it be with a sewing machine or needle and thread. Some of us do dressmaking, cross stitch, felting or appliqué. In fact the list is endless.  

With that thought, we would like to invite those who enjoy creating anything with a needle and thread regardless of their skill level or experience. There is always someone ready with help or advice, as between us, we have years of experience and knowledge to share over a cuppa.

As the u3a is a charitable organisation, the group will not be making any donations, but individuals are welcome to choose and make for a charity of their choice.
